Mary Brint, Practice Manager
Mary Brint came on board as our Practice Manager in November, 2010. Prior to starting with Aptos-Creekside Pet Hospital, Mary has worked at various practices in both Southern and Northern California (in human medicine) for over 35 years.
Mary’s love for animals has always been a main focal point of her life, where she lives in Watsonville with her husband and teenage daughter (along with five horses, two dogs, two cats, chickens, a cockatiel and even several trout)! As a child, she spent many summers on a ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming where her interest in horses became one of her passions. In her time off, she gives riding lessons and occasionally will still trailer a pony out for a birthday party! Her daughter, Megan, continues to stay very involved in riding as well, performing in both gymkhana and rodeo events and together, they get in as much horse camping as they can manage to get away for.
Mary enjoys camping, hiking, bike riding and in her spare time, watercolor painting. But her favorite pastime is spending time with her family; she especially loves her goofing around time with her grandson, Calvin.
Rebecca Skaug, Reception
Becky has retired from Aptos-Creekside Pet Hospital after devoting 22 years to her veterinary clinic work. She has been a great asset to our staff here at the clinic, and we wish her all the best as she embarks on her next adventures. We will all miss her a great deal!
Sara Blackstorm, Reception
Sara joined Aptos-Creekside Pet Hospital as a receptionist in 2003. She has worked with animals since 1995. Sara has spent most of her life raising orphaned baby animals and finding good homes for those that come her way. Sara looks forward to seeing all the furry faces that come through the doors of the hospital.
Sara's loves are her two little boys and her house full of animals. Dogs, cats and other furry creatures rule her household.
When not at work, she spends her time homeschooling her two boys, gardening, cuddling her cats, her dog and her and rats as well as spending a lot of time playing!

You will often see her with the quick change from scrubs to business woman as she dashes out to her next appointment. Erika is a whirl of energy and organization, qualities essential to a well run veterinary hospital.
